Plan a mobile visit

Mobile Detailing at an Apartment or Condo

RANA may be able to detail your car at your apartment or condo if the property allows it and we confirm the parking setup. You need a place where the car can stay parked while we work beside it, with approved access to a hose and outlet. An assigned space alone does not mean detailing is allowed. Check these points before you request a visit.

Check the parking rules before a mobile detail

Ask your property manager or condo association whether a professional can detail a car where you park. A space assigned to you may still have rules about work in the lot or garage. If you park in a shared area or an indoor garage, ask about that exact spot. RANA will need to confirm whether the setup works for your visit.

Check space, power and water beside your car

Can your car stay parked while someone works beside it? Can RANA reach the spot? Check whether you may use a hose and power outlet there. Knowing that a hose or outlet exists is only part of the answer; ask whether the property permits their use for the detail. If any of these points are unclear, call RANA before sending a request.

For a general visit checklist, see what to have ready for a mobile car detail. If you are still choosing the work you want done, compare RANA's services.

Ask about wash water in the parking area

Find out where water from the parking spot would go. In Fairfax County, storm drains carry runoff straight to streams without treatment. The county also says commercial wash water cannot go into storm drains or streams without a permit. See Fairfax County Public Works' car washing guidance. Ask RANA to confirm whether your proposed spot has a suitable setup. Property permission alone does not answer the wash-water question.

What to ask your apartment or condo manager

You can send this message and fill in the details for your building:

May I have a professional mobile detailer work beside my car in [my assigned space / the shared lot / the garage]? The car would stay parked during the visit. May we use the hose and outlet at [location]? Are there rules about wash water in that parking area, or another spot you want us to ask about?

Share the answer with RANA when you call to discuss the setup. If your manager needs more details before deciding, ask RANA about the proposed visit.

No hose, outlet or approved parking spot?

Call RANA at 703-474-0265 if you cannot confirm the parking setup. If the hose or outlet is unavailable, ask whether bringing the car to a Fairfax location by arrangement could work for your detail. RANA will confirm the option with you by phone. Do not drive there without an arrangement.

Request a detail after checking the parking setup

Once you have checked the rules and the spot, Book Your Detail. The form asks for your service, vehicle, address and preferred time. It sends a request; RANA will follow up to confirm the appointment and setup. You can also check RANA's Northern Virginia and DC mobile detailing area; RANA will confirm your exact address. If you still need to sort out permission, utilities or the parking area, Call About Parking first.
