Can an exterior detail repair scratches?
Paint correction, ceramic coating, and scratch repair are not offered on this site. Exterior Detail Reset should not be read as a promise to restore damaged paint or remove scratches.
How does exterior detailing differ from a basic car wash?
A basic wash cleans the car's outside. Exterior detailing can cover more surfaces. The International Detailing Association separates washing from detailing, and Consumer Reports describes how road tar can build up near the wheels and lower body. RANA's listed exterior service includes wheels, tires, trim, glass, and bug, tar, and iron removal. This is cleaning, not paint repair.
How do you request an exterior detail at your parked car?
Share your vehicle type, the buildup you want cleaned, the service address, and where the car will be parked. An exterior detail usually takes less than an hour, but size and condition can change that estimate. RANA will confirm access and timing.

No. Engine bay cleaning is a $20 add-on.
Can the work happen in my apartment parking space?
Tell us your address and where the car will be parked. We’ll check access and anything else needed before confirming the visit.
Is this different from a basic car wash?
Yes. Exterior Detail Reset includes a foam bath and hand wash plus wheels, tires, trim, exterior glass, bug/tar/iron removal, and safe drying. A basic wash may not include those areas or steps.
Can exterior detailing remove a scratch?
No scratch repair or paint correction is part of this service. Tell us what you see so the cleaning request matches your expectations.
How long does an exterior detail take?
Usually less than an hour. The exact time depends on the car's size and condition, and we'll confirm it with you before the visit.
